ux product design media production marketing strategy communicationsStudents will work on projects with client mentors in all programs at our Arts and Communications campus. They'll work from the classroom with an instructor guiding them in the areas of client and project management, honing skills important for emerging professionals as they enter the workforce. At the end of the term, the student has a portfolio-ready accomplishment in their industry and the client has a tangible outcome.
Learners
Depending on the industry and the client, students will be expected to deliver a useful, tangible file or product to the client. The projects should not be "make work" and should be helpful to the company. Examples include: a website audit and competitive analysis; a logo; updated web content; social media strategy; an analytics strategy and basic implementation; research; prototype design; mural; user manual.

Project examples
Projects range in scope from Impact Report writing, to UX design, to museum installations, to marketing and social media plans to prototypes to complete overhauls of website content...to developing training materials for a not-for-profit based out of Tanzania. As long as the client understands they have to put in time as a mentor to inexperienced students, they will receive quality work and enthusiastic delivery.
